Rookwater House · Detective game
An overturned verdict. A death in the past.
And the question of what the evidence really tells us.

The case
Eight years after Elena Sayer's death, her case is reopened. The conviction of her partner Elliot Hales has been overturned, but the questions remain.
When author Miriam Holling brings those involved back to Rookwater House for new interviews, you begin to revisit the events as Detective Carter.
Conduct interviews, examine photographs and documents, and record your findings in the case file. A convincing story is not the same as a proven truth.
Compare memories with records. Find contradictions and decide which conclusions are actually supported by evidence.
Examine documents and photographs. Bring statements and relevant sources together into a reasoned argument.
Choose Normal mode with guiding questions, or Detective mode for more independent reasoning. The story stays the same.
