AngleFlow Privacy policy
Last updated: 10 October 2026
1. Operator and scope
AngleFlow is published under the Rivertake brand. The controller for our processing is Ati Abouk, Mörikestr. 32, 67071 Ludwigshafen am Rhein, Germany. For privacy questions contact info@rivertake.com. This policy covers the AngleFlow Android game. Our website has a separate privacy policy.
2. Playing and local storage
You do not create a Rivertake account to play. Your high score, sound and haptic settings and introductory-help state are saved on your device. The gameplay code does not send these values to a Rivertake server. Local purchase entitlement is saved to maintain ad-free access and is rechecked with Google Play. Android may back up or transfer app data according to your device and backup settings. For our processing, providing the game and purchase functionality relies on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where applicable; remembering requested preferences and maintaining a secure service relies on our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f). Local storage necessary for those requested functions is used for those purposes; it is separate from advertising storage and identifiers.
3. Advertising and privacy choices
The app uses Google Mobile Ads and Google's User Messaging Platform for ads and privacy choices. Internal test builds display test ads; release builds may display paid advertising. Advertising services can process IP addresses (including approximate location derived from them), app and ad interactions, diagnostic information and device or account identifiers, such as the advertising ID and app-set ID, and privacy-choice signals. Purposes include ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention and service operation. This is separate from our locally stored high score. Where required, the Google privacy form explains purposes and advertising partners and lets you consent, decline or manage your choices. Advertising partners and their roles are listed in that form. Optional processing requiring consent relies on consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR where applicable). Essential service/security processing may rely on the provider's applicable legal basis; the provider's notice explains its own processing. We do not treat a refusal of consent as permission for personalized advertising. Technical permission to request an ad is determined through Google's privacy status. You can open Ad privacy choices in the question-mark help menu to revisit available advertising choices, including after buying Remove ads. Where no form is required for your device, the app explains this. Withdrawal applies for the future and does not undo processing already lawfully performed. Your Android settings also provide controls for the advertising ID. Google's notice: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en How Google uses information from partner apps: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites?hl=en Declining advertising consent does not grant the Remove ads purchase. Where Google permits an ad request, ads may still be shown with the applicable restrictions. Ad availability is not guaranteed. Privacy choices do not change our ad frequency. In the original version 1.0, a minimum one-minute interval applies. From version 1.0.1, an advertising break is eligible after every three completed runs, without an additional fixed one-minute interval. Network-ad availability is not guaranteed.
From version 1.0.1, when your device has no validated internet connection, the free version displays locally stored promotions for other Rivertake games at these result-screen breaks. The posters are bundled with the app and alternate using a local rotation preference. They do not use an advertising identifier, send impression data or require advertising-personalization consent. You can close a local promotion after ten seconds of visible display. The countdown pauses when the app moves into the background or loses focus and resumes when you return. A voluntary Google Play button opens the promoted game’s store page; downloading it requires an internet connection. These local promotions are not used to replace unavailable network ads while the device is online. Confirmed Remove ads ownership suppresses both network ads and local promotions. The rotation preference is excluded from Android backup and device transfer.
4. Google Play purchases
Remove ads is an optional one-time purchase processed by Google Play. The app receives product and purchase information, including purchase state, a purchase token and acknowledgement state, to fulfill the purchase and restore entitlement. For our processing, fulfilling the purchase relies on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where applicable. We do not receive payment-card numbers. Google handles payment and account information under its own applicable terms and privacy notices. Confirmed ownership stops requests and display of our ads. It does not erase data previously processed by advertising services. Clearing app storage does not cancel a Google Play purchase.
5. Analytics and device permissions
Firebase Analytics event collection is disabled. This does not mean that advertising or purchase services process no technical data. AngleFlow does not request permissions to access precise device location, contacts, camera or microphone. Approximate location from IP addresses is a separate matter.
6. Support
When you email us, we process the information you send to answer your request and handle necessary follow-up. Depending on the request, the basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR or our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries under Article 6(1)(f). Our email hosting provider is STRATO GmbH, Germany. Please do not send passwords or complete payment-card details.
7. Retention and deletion
Local game settings remain until cleared or removed, subject to Android backup and restoration. Clearing app storage deletes local progress and settings; a restored backup may restore them. This does not erase Google's payment or advertising records. We retain support correspondence while needed to resolve the inquiry and necessary follow-up, then delete it unless statutory retention or legal-claim requirements justify continued retention. Google and advertising partners apply their own retention rules and account controls, explained in their notices. We do not set a single retention period for all data held by these separate providers.
8. Providers and international transfers
Google services and advertising partners can process data outside your country, including in the United States. The relevant Google entity and its role depend on the service and region; Google's privacy notice identifies the applicable entity. International transfers are covered, as applicable, by adequacy decisions, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework for certified participants, or Standard Contractual Clauses and required safeguards. Details of Google's safeguards and how to request information about them: https://policies.google.com/privacy/frameworks?hl=en Opening this policy in your browser also involves our website's hosting services; see the separate website notice at https://rivertake.com/privacy.
9. Intended audience
AngleFlow is designed for teenagers aged 13 and older and adults. It is not specifically directed at children under 13. This intended audience is separate from the game's content rating and parental controls. We do not collect a date of birth or require a Rivertake player account. An advertising privacy form is not age verification. Google account and device services can apply additional protections and purchase approval requirements. We do not treat an unknown age as proof that a player is an adult.
10. Your rights
Where applicable law grants these rights, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction and portability, withdraw consent, and object to processing based on legitimate interests, including direct marketing. To request deletion or exercise these rights for our processing, email info@rivertake.com and identify your request. Do not include passwords or full card details. We may need information sufficient to identify the data concerned. We cannot delete records held independently by Google or erase local progress remotely. You can clear local app storage through Android settings; this does not cancel a purchase or delete a restored backup. Requests concerning Google's own processing can also be directed to Google through its privacy controls. You may complain to a data-protection authority, including the Rheinland-Pfalz authority: https://www.datenschutz.rlp.de/. We do not use game data to make decisions about you with legal or similarly significant effects.
11. Changes
We update this notice when the app's practices change and display its current revision date. The current notice is accessible through Privacy policy in the question-mark help menu.
