Rivertake

Reactorwave Privacy policy

Revised 22 October 2026. This notice covers the Reactorwave Android game, including its free edition and full-version purchase.

1. Local game data

The game stores progress, upgrades, selected modes, records, language and audio settings on the device. It does not require a Rivertake player account and has no separate Rivertake gameplay analytics service. Local storage is used to provide and remember the game as requested. The Android release disables application cloud backup through its manifest. Device-to-device transfers and system restoration can still depend on the Android version and device vendor. Clearing app storage removes local progress and settings and does not cancel a Google Play purchase.

2. Advertising and privacy choices

The free edition integrates Google Mobile Ads and Google's User Messaging Platform. These services may collect and share IP addresses, which can indicate approximate location, device and account identifiers, app interactions and diagnostic information for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. Advertising data are encrypted in transit using TLS. The game does not request GPS, contacts, camera or microphone permissions. Local game storage does not mean the entire app processes no data.

Where required and applicable, Google consent messages and privacy options allow you to manage advertising choices. The app requests consent information before advertising requests and checks Google's canRequestAds status. The implementation applies conservative under-age-of-consent treatment and does not treat an unknown age as an adult. Where consent is the applicable legal basis, advertising choices rely on that consent; other processing, including fraud prevention, is subject to the service's applicable legal bases and disclosures. Providers and purposes appear in applicable Google messages. A privacy choice is not age verification. Details: Google Mobile Ads data disclosures and Google Privacy Policy.

Ads may appear between completed or restarted runs, subject to the app's timing limits. If an ad is unavailable, a locally bundled Rivertake game promotion may be shown instead. Tapping a promotion can open the corresponding Google Play page. A verified full-version purchase disables both third-party advertising and these house promotions. This does not delete data previously processed by advertising services.

3. Google Play purchases

Google Play processes the one-time full-version purchase. The app receives purchase status, product identification, a purchase token and a signed receipt to verify and restore access. For Rivertake's processing, fulfilling the purchase relies on Article 6(1)(b)GDPR where applicable. We do not receive payment-card numbers. Google handles payments and account information under its own notices. Pending, cancelled or invalid purchases do not unlock the full version. Valid signed purchase data are stored privately on the device for offline entitlement and checked again when connected. Refunds or revocation can remove access. Clearing storage does not cancel the purchase; ownership can be restored through Google Play. A signed local receipt alone is not a claim of server-side purchase verification.

4. Local records

Version 1.0 stores high scores separately for each game mode on your device. It does not include online leaderboards, Google Play Games sign-in or transmission of your scores to a ranking service. No player account is required. Private complimentary app-review access is stored locally, separately from Google Play purchase receipts, and does not create a player account.

5. Support and website hosting

When you email us, we use the information you provide to answer your request and necessary follow-up. Depending on the request, the basis is Article 6(1)(b)GDPR or our legitimate interest in responding under Article 6(1)(f). Do not send passwords or full payment-card details. Opening this notice in your browser involves the website's hosting and technical request processing, including the IP address. See the separate Rivertake website privacy notice.

6. Retention and deletion

Local game data remain until cleared or removed, subject to the device behavior described above. We retain support correspondence while needed for the request and follow-up, then delete it unless legal retention or legal claims require otherwise. Google and other disclosed providers apply their own retention rules and controls. Clearing app storage does not erase Google's payment, advertising or Play Games records. We cannot remotely erase local progress or independently held provider records. Contact us for requests concerning Rivertake's processing and use Google's controls for its independently held data.

7. Security, providers and international transfers

The Android game blocks arbitrary network navigation in its game WebView and uses native Google services for advertising, consent and purchases. Google's relevant entity and role depend on the service and region. Google and disclosed advertising partners can process data outside your country, including in the United States. Applicable safeguards may include adequacy decisions, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework for certified participants or Standard Contractual Clauses. Details: Google's international transfer frameworks. We do not sell your local game progress or use it for decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

8. Intended audience

Reactorwave is intended for teenagers aged 13 and older and adults. It is not specifically marketed to children under 13. Intended audience is separate from the game's content rating. The game does not collect a birth date. Google account, device and family settings may apply additional protections or purchase approvals.

9. Your rights and contact

Where applicable, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction and portability, withdraw consent, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact info@rivertake.com for our processing, with enough information to identify the request but without passwords or complete payment details. You may complain to a competent data-protection authority, including the Rheinland-Pfalz authority. Requests concerning Google's independent processing can also be made through its privacy controls. The game currently does not offer a separate Rivertake account to delete.

10. Changes

We update this notice when the app's actual practices change and display the revision date above. Any future server-side purchase verification or additional data collection requires an updated disclosure before deployment.

11. Who is responsible

The controller for Rivertake's processing is Ati Abouk, Mörikestraße 32, 67071 Ludwigshafen am Rhein, Germany. Privacy and support inquiries: info@rivertake.com. Provider details: Legal notice.
